As I sit here masticating on a fruit fancy I wonder ‘When oh when will those brand new BC tracks that I’ve been hearing so little about appear?’ Well fear not me and my thoughts, for the first few tracks are laid and are awaiting that most essential piece of production…the mix.
In layman’s terms this is where the vocals, bass geetar and beats are delicately poured into a large vat filled with the raging power of a thousand raging suns. From here they are lovingly ‘mixed’ by the almost ape-like fists of our production maestro Mr Bertrund ‘ Half a sixpence’ Trousers.
Once mixed the track is then slammed into the arse of erstwhile rat-cathing Geetar slut, Mr Steve Styles. Using the time honoured method of musical irrigation the tune is then colonic-lly spat into the magically digital smelting pot where the BC elves add just a soupcon of pixie dust and a handful of upper-lip moisture.
This is then left to fester for ¾ of a day before emerging like a rhythmic butterfly onto the airwaves of the Net which we like to call Inter, and the shiny plastic C of the D.
The spawn of all this musical activity will be coming real soon people, so begin your aural cleansing regime NOW! Only the finest fur-free ears will be able to sample the delights which are about to pour forth.
Oh and if your wondering what’s happening with the newly christened BC Big 5,000th Hit…The stat is currently ticking over at 4,481, so you still have plenty of time to get in those pictures of you abusing electrical implements..(Details available below)….
