The wheels of commerce may be falling off around the World as the Global Credit Crunch bites hard on the poorest in society, house prices may be tumbling and food prices may rising…but one thing shines in the sea of gloom and depression like a beacon of beat fuelled hope – The thought that Bomb Culture’s first long player is on it’s way!! Oh yes, my friends on a chart of all that is good and lovely in the world, the imminent arrival of The Spawn of BC has even the dourest of gloom predictors doing a little jig and saying ‘Thank De Lawd that BC are here to help!” Work on the album is progressing under the hairy hoofed hands of beat monkey Berty, so relax dear hearts, soon all will be well in the World.
If, however, you’re in need of a shot of LIVE BC to get you through this harrowing bit of fiscal turbulence then the Good Ship Bomb Culture sails into the Cwmaman Institute this Saturday (19th April) with a cargo of good vibrations and full-fat beats.
Among a line-up of top toonsmiths are the rather groovy Sal (Writers of the new James Bond theme for Penguin audio books) and the ever fragrant Cakehole Presley (purveyors of some Super Sweet acoustic-a).Details can be seen on the flyer below (or for a bigger look at the flyer pop over to the BC Website – Link at the top of the page on the right). The whole thang is an all-dayer for the bargain price of a fiver.
