How y’all doin’ out there in ‘reading these words land’? I am now struggling into the 4th week of non-smoking and I gotta say that apart from a few small diversions on the road of the straight and narrow, it hasn’t been as bad as I was expecting. The first couple of days were okay and then the next couple were miserable and foul but as I slowly trudge towards the milestone of a month without smoke I do kinda feel a lot better for it. So if you’re wondering wether to do it, go ahead, it’s not anywhere near as bad as you would imagine, and remember –it’s the only drugs that does nothing except slowly kill you.
Speaking of all things smoky, BC are currently immersed in a large cloud of inspiration as they beat and batter out a brand spanking new cover version of….Well to find out what you’d better hot foot it down to the Gwyl Macs Festival where the loveable old BC will be taking to the Chill Out Village Stage at 10pm on the Saturday night (1st September). It’s the last festy of the season for BC so make sure you’re there as we’re gonna try and finish this miserable fucking summer with a big hearty bang. The Gwyl Macs may also be a bit of a watershed moment for BC to find out why you’d better grab yer coat, grab yer hat and leave yer worries on the doorstep – just direct your feet to the Carmarthen Gwyl Macs Festival side of the street…
