Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain....etc...Well, BC's festy season will kick off in truly moist style this Friday when the Big 'Ol BC takes to the sodden Courtyard Stage for their headlining first night at Llanfyllin's Workhouse Festival. If anyone knows of an enchanted backward rain dance that we could possibly perform, please do get in touch...If your heading up to the Workhouse come and say Howdy, we'll be pleased to meet ya!
Hot on the heels of the annuncement of BC joining Sicknote for a support slot at Grooveslaves 50th B-Day bash, with the 'Special(s)' (see what I did there?) Dub Pistols featuring Lord Terry Hall (Not the guy with Lenny the Lion) comes news of a nice little supporting gig with Belisha on July 17th at Cardiff's very own Barfly. Belisha come with a reputation for using on-stage flamethrowers and custard pie fights - Here's hoping they have seen the size and cavernous nature of the Barfly as lighting so much as a match in there could snd the whole place up...YIKES!
So, nothing to rant about today just a call across this green and pleasant land of ours to cross your fingers for a spot of dry weather for this weekend - Either that or a giant umberella to be constructed across North Powys, we'll take either, we're not fussy.
Full Festy report as soon as we're back...
