Well, considering that the only publicity that seemed to be done for last Saturdays gig was a few flyers left hanging around in the actual pub itself, BC would like once again to extend a big hearty 'Cheers Muckers' to all those who turned out anyway.
It's not something I usually bitch about but seriously, if your puttting on a night then maybe, just fucking maybe, advertising it would be a good idea don't ya think? Anyhoooo onwards and upwards my dear slaves to that crazy BC rythym, as we slide into a little surprise gig at Tactile Bosch Studios in Llandaff, Cardiff this very weekend. The night is being put on by those beret wearing, goatee chinned art loving hedonists, Jacuzzi Junta. Along with the mighty BC will be a programme packed with live art, music, and poetrytype stuff. As always this can prove to be a bit of a hit and miss affair but Jaccuzi Junta do what they do and you can't argue against their artisitc freedom, so let's wind 'em up and let 'em go.
In other news, BC have just confirmed their return apperance at this years Workhouse Festival in North Powys. This year the chaps will be headlining The Courtyard Stage, with the magnificent backdrop of the old court walls behind them- prepare for a full-on aural assault of biblical proportions!
On a personal note, I saw the magnificent, nay, awesome, nay God-like, Lord Rik Mayall in The New Statesman last night , and although it was a bit like watching a political pantomime and a LOT of the cast were frankly, shite (Condolezza Rice I'm looking at you) -King Mayall was a fucking comedy God. Good to see a hero of my youth growing old so damn disgracefully...Rik Mayall - Bomb Culture Salutes You!!!!
