Oooooh the Small Nations Festival…Well we started with a missing guitarist then moved quickly on to realising that the VJ equipment wouldn’t work in the bright sunlight. A quick ‘What the fuck are we gonna do?’ later ands Bert and Mooseglove decided that as the dance tent was empty we’d carry on regardless Little did we know that our buddies had been out and about giving away the good-old free BC Lighters…Mid way through the first toon, the tent was suddenly packed with hedonistic bouncing dancers, who not only gave us great support but bought a shit load of CD’s… So from the jaws of disaster a major triumph reared its rather attractive head.
We’d like to give a huge shout to Subsource (Best.Festy.Band.Ever) who came and gave us some much needed support by grooving away with the rest of the crowd.
When we got to catch their set later, it was a lesson in how to perform. Seriously, if you ever see their names on a poster anywhere, give yourself an enormous treat and go catch ‘em. You WILL dance.
Onwards, ever onwards dear People, and tonight BC fly on down to the Barfly for their last show until September, so if you wanna fill up on your BC lovin’ before the rest of the amusing titled ‘summer’ is over then come on down! Theres a flyer on the posting below which if you print out will give you a whole five pounds off the door price..You lucky people!
