Before the big ol' BC takes a wee sabatical to write some nu toons and generally get some new shit together, they shall be joining their good pals, The Spectaculars for a right old knees-up on January 20th at Clwb Y Bony, Pontypridd..So the rain may fall and the loooooooong winter months may drag their tedious way to the joys of Spring, but consoul yourself dear reading person for Bomb Culture are back to turn that frown up-side down.
In other news....Whilst we were enjoying the festive festivities it came to our attention that Saddam Hussein was hung....that'll stop him becoming a martyr then. Congratulations Bush and Blair on another startling victory on the road to making Iraq 'civilised'.Oh bollocks to the sarcasm, what a pair of twats, eh folks?
It was also with great regret that we heard the news that wife-beating, gun-totting, trouser-splitting musical funk-God, James Brown decided to shuffle off this mortal coil on Christmas Day. Obviously Bomb Culture cannot let this pass without a salute...so James Brown musical pioneer of the 'pretend your ill on stage and get someone to give you a cape' and all-round funkalicious bad-asssssssss....Bomb Culture Salutes You!!!!
Oh and finally...yesterday saw the birthday of Elvis Pressley (if he wasn't all dead n' stuff) the 70th Birthday of Shirley Bassey, and the 60th(!!) B-Day of the Awesome Lord David Bowie...it was also the B-Day of your good friend...me! Yep, your very own Mooseglove lit another candle on his cake of life, so huzzah for me!! Okay that was a little self-indulgent butas my grandpa always said, if your gonna blow a trumpet make sure it's got a good tune. Nope, me neither.
