Not quite Infinite Daze

I thought I'd mention the whole Infinite Daze thing which was supposed to go on this past weekend. First of all, we weren't asked to play because the organizer who saw us at our last Callaghans gig didn't like us. The bugger with that was that they had 2 people choosing who could play, and the other person liked us. Anyway, subsequently only Berty was asked to play. He slaved away on finally finishing his set, but it was cancelled due to police intervention. They said this via email:
The Infinite Daze private party has been shut down and ordered to leave the site due to police intervention under section 63 of the Criminal Justice And Public Order Act 1994. Infinite Daze believe that they are exempt from this act, however police have taken measures to prevent access to the site. Legal investigations are being carried out, as we believe this has been enforced unjustly and is compromising human rights.
This wouldn't have happened if we were playing. The coppers love us.

Yeh, I asked em t come down n check y out. I don't know why they thought y weren't appropriate. You'd ave bin top after the hippy bands ad stopped droning. I was supposed t be djing and I'd ave been playing some rocking yer sdocks off tunes, not hippy rocking chair melodies, No accounting eh.
