Noooooo!!!!!!

Damn it, damn it all to hell! Steve is, like, really ill and shit. It looks about 99% likely that he won't be able to make it tonight. So, we have a dilemma. We basically have 3 choices. they are:

1. We cancel
2. Lou attempts to sing Steve's songs as well as her own
3. We go with Bert's suggestion and we just do Lou's 2 songs, then Bert does his breakbeat techno set.

Unfortunately the most likely looing suggestion is No. 3, and I really don't want Bert to do his thumpy stuff. Sorry, Bert, but there it is. From what I hear the Hawaiian has quite a happy-go-lucky party vibe to it. I can't see Bang-Bang-Bang-B-B-Bang-Bang-Bang fitting in. Plus, what he does is totally seperate from us, and I don't particularly want people associating the two things unless it's on a night where both styles will go down well.

Well, I just spoke to Bert and he says he's heard full-on jungle down there, so maybe his stuff won't be a completely bad idea. Anyway, he's ringing Lou to see if she fancies giving the vocals a go, and also John from the Hawaiian to see what he thinks we should do. I'll update when I know more.
